Sleep...pain...

Woke up at 4:30. Luie slept for about 4 hours straight without boosting his pain medication. Not a good idea. I fell asleep, not a good idea, and he woke up crying in pain. It took him about 3-4 pushes of the button to get him comfortable. He just told me "I'm sleepy, keep pushing my button." It hurt to tell him I can't do that. To prevent over dosing he has to be awake and push the button or ask. Right now his pain is under control, and I watch the clock. Every 6 minutes, I tell him he can push the button. He does, but now it's making him sick to his stomach. I don't think I will be sleeping much. I think I will wait 12 minutes before I tell him again. Night, night. Please excuse the typos.

    Luie, I love you so much. I'm so sorry you were hurting last night. I hope and pray that today is a better day and each day will get easier. I'm thinking about you ALL the time!! Z, hang in there. You are doing great. Must be torture to see your baby like that, but you are doing a great job.

    Hey wats up buddy? Well, I know whats been up but you know what I mean? I heard that you just went through your very first surgery yesterday. That is pretty hardcore man, I am very proud of you, I probably would not be able to handle all the stress and pain, and you've been going through this for a while. I hope you get better really soon.     I'm so glad to hear your surgery went well. I was thinking about you all day. You did it! You made it through the hard part! Now keep pushing that button as you need it and it will get easier each day. Let us know if you need ANYTHING! Keep posting so we know your progress. Take care!

    Hey Luis and family!! You are all in our prayers!!
    Hang in there with the pain Luis; In the long run it will have been worth it. My mom went through a similar surgery and as difficult as it was, she feels so much better than before the surgery so take heart each day should be a little better as far as the pain is concerned.
    In the meantime, we'll keep praying for pain relief as well as guidance for the doctors in your treatment.

    Hi Luie!
    I was so excited to hear that your surgery went well! Your Tio Cheo and I are so proud of our AMAZINGLY STRONG Nephew! I told Adri and Elliott that you went to visit the doctors so they can help you feel better and Adri said, "SWEET! I really hope Luie feels better soon. I am going to talk to Jesus and ask him to hurry up..." Elliott says, "What's up Dude." We ALL love you very much and we are praying for you everyday.

    Zaira, you are an awsome big sister, but and even more amazing mother. Your children are so blessed to have you. If you need anything, please know that Cheo and I are here for you.
